black lion key changes and why not 2 buy
I used 5 keys, got a unique skin (became a mini saddly) and the 4th sloth – a glider
When i opend them i had 250% luck
Idunno, i opened two and got fused mace from unique skin thing and 2 scraps. I bought only one key, and used a freebie key. Not buying any more keys, i’ve used up my luck.
You may have missed the 4th slot that has a chance to appear. Thus, it’s not always ‘3 items max’.
Good luck.
There has been a guaranteed trick or treat bag in chests in previous years during Halloween, and nobody made a fuss about them. Effectively they’ve replaced the slot that held a guaranteed booster (that many people made a fuss about and declared as useless … not me though, I enjoyed the boosters ) with a slot that has a chance for a high-ticket item but also has a (bigger) chance to hold nothing. The seasonal bag has been there for a long time, the only change is that it’s going to be present all-year round now, not just during special festivals.
Er, no. In the past the ToT bag or gift was an added fourth item. Now it replaces the booster slot . . .
It’s true that the ToT bag doesn’t remove the opportunity for getting something good, but it has created the perception that people used to have three opportunities where now they only have two. Ofc no one ever had more than one chance per chest and that one chance still exists same as ever, but the perception of opening a chest and seeing two slots vs. three is what has created the backlash . . .
Accustomed as I am to all this whining on the forums at first I was inclined to tell people to get over it, but when I see those same ToT bags attached to every daily I do sort of agree that the seasonal item should be a fourth slot and they should bring the booster back, worthless as it was . . .
Opened 1 chest with free key got eagle wings backback
putting it simply now your only ever get 2 items from keys and one trash item (trick or treat bag) and yah i must have missed the rare rng chance 2 get a 3rd item
i wouldn’t feel so bad if the seasonal item was a special one or maybe even if u got 5 of the bags or somthing but like people have said above and on the reddit i played 1 pvp match and got 23 trick or treat bags lol so why the hell should i spend real money on that?
Yeah, that’s the rub. They replaced something useless with something useless so I can see their thinking, but when you get so many of that new something useless just by playing the game that you’re tripping over them, well . . .

Says who?
In the past, during holiday events we had four slots: 1 guaranteed seasonal slot (special holidays only), 2 random slots, 1 booster slot.
Now we always have 4 slots: 1 guaranteed seasonal slot (all-year round now instead of only for special holidays), one convenience item, one account progression and one for rare stuff with the drawback that when random doesn’t come up with anything rare the slots stays empty.
Nowhere does it say the booster slot is replaced with the seasonal bag. In fact, the slot that holds the seasonal bag is the only one that didn’t change at all (other than becoming a year-round addition to the chests). The other three slots got sorted around and drop categories assigned to single slots rather than double slots, but for all we know the drop rate of “good” stuff might actually be higher now (despite the missing boosters) than it used to be before.
Yeah, you seem to be agreeing with me . . .
Slot 1 and 2: always bad, useless or superfluous items.
Slot 3: a high probability of bad, useless or superfluous items.
Slot 4: Usually empty.
That sums it up for how I value the new chest drops.
I don’t feel Ticket Scraps or Wardrobe Unlocks are ‘useless/superfluous’ items. They are common items, so fall in slots 2 and 3.
But, of course, each to their own.
I used six keys and got:
- Permanent Spectre Finisher (14g or 500 gems)
- Gifts Mail Delivery (350 gems)
- Phoenix Hammer Skin (800g)
- Two Black Lion Claim Ticket Scraps
- And the joy of just opening up gift boxes to see what’s inside.
In case you’re wondering, I valued the last one much higher than the other four. It was a guildmate who pointed out what the other prizes actually “worth.” Gamble for the joy of gambling, and you won’t be disappointed .

Ticket scraps and wardrobe unlocks don’t drop in the 2nd slot.
They are the only 2 items in the 3rd slot that interest me.
Zero items of interest in the first slot.
Zero items of interest in the second slot.
Two items of interest in the third slot.
Hardly anything I wouldn’t just sell for gold in the fourth slot.
No keys for me. On the plus side, I can now put the character slot I sometimes use for key runs to a different purpose.
