why cant we set our own prices? I cant sell to someone with an order because this kitten thing tells me the lowest price allowed is the lowest listing price…

I don’t want to charge 20 gold for something I think is only worth 2…

then I have massive hordes of stuff people want to buy apparently, but it forces me to list it for a price nobody in their right mind is going to give..

If an item has the highest bid of 20g and you only want to charge 2g for it, type in 2g as the price to sell it.

The guy who has the 20g bid up, will get your item and 18g, effectively buying it for 2g from you.

If the lowest listing price is the lowest possible price, it means that price minus 15% fees and taxes equals the vendor value of that item. In that case, sell to a vendor.

im seeing items listed for less and ordered for a lot less than what its allowing me to post it as.
never had this problem before

also its not allowing me to sell to people with orders about half the time. it was fine a couple of months ago. then somebody decided to prick with something that was not broken

It’s not changed. It’s that now you are seeing some items with bid orders lower than the vendor price, most likely due to all the Lab farming. It won’t let you sell below the vendor price, same as always. The only real issue is that the TP will allow someone to post a bid price below vendor value and again, its always been that way.

Selling or buying?

Some items still have buy orders below vendor value from a time it was possible.
Those buy orders cant be filled and Anet never allocated the resources to removing them.
