That could be possible.

They did say that after they did the con, they’d do a beta which would ultimately help them formulate a release plan. Once that’s settled, we should indeed be seeing preorder info.

Highly doubt it. This is, after all, based on the fact that when HoT was announced, there wasn’t even a release date or price. Something most games already have in mind (and release publicly) when making such a huge announcement.

Just days ago there was an error where GW2 was on sale for $4 also.

I don’t think we should all board the hype train just yet. You may get your hopes up prematurely :-/

idk if you watch the revenant Points of Interest, they say that their first closed beta is coming up quickly, and the pre-purchase bonus for the original game was to get in closed beta weekends

nah, it took them 4 months(april-july) with like 5 closed beta weekends to beta test the entirety of guild wars 2 which was still in an iffy state

now that they know what they are doing and were able to push out content every couple weeks i’d say they at most would have to beta test this for 1.5-2 months with a release in april, which just so happens to be gw1’s 10 anniversary
