I’m going to be buying a 2nd copy of gw2 for my girlfriend and I’m not sure whats the best bang for my buck, buying it directly from the site says it costs $50 but includes an legacy skin(s), but if I buy it from amazon or another site it says it’s $40 but it doesn’t mention the legacy skins, do they both come with legacy skins or am I paying $10 extra on the gw2 site for the skins?

I don’t know when they added those legacy skins to the base game (I guess it isn’t retroactive since I don’t have any of those), but one of those skins costs 800 gems (or $10) in the in-game gem store, which you can purchase from at any time.

Basically, you’re paying for a skin whether you like it or not if you buy from this site.

I wonder if Skritt would make good pets…

I think the heroic edition is probably the best one to go with. I honestly don’t think the deluxe one is worth it. My brother got Heroic for like $40 I think. that’s not so bad

Don’t do it. It’s not worth it. Unless, of course, you were already planning a break-up.

They are not 800 gems anymore. Those skins are 500 gems each now and have been for a while.

You get the same game either way. Buy the less expensive one, all other items can be gotten via ingame gold to gem conversions or buying gems through gem-cards.

EDIT: The skins to me are not fantastic, must have items. The game itself on the other hand is.
