we need a customizable UI, like we had in guild wars 1.
if you are going to use SPVP / TPVP as an excuse as it gives advantages then simply use standard UI that cant be changed when playing SPVP / TPVP so the balance remains.
and WvW is just mindless zergs and is not to be taken srsly

so back to the PVE point of this.
I am an engineer I use grenades / bombs and my rifle. this leads to ALOT of ground targeting. how ever if I target something like a champ or legendary I get a MASSIVE target frame slap bang in the top centre of my screen causing a lot of issues for ground targeting.
example I target a legendary boss and use ground target. in fractals u do need to move such as the colososal fractal. now when I start moving it does a lot of the time cause my ground targeting to snap to my skill bar UI or either side of the champ due to the target frame getting in the way.
this also causes issue when trying to use my ground target skills at max range. it eats up part of my screen and inhibits my ability to use my max range skills (wvw come to mind fighting zergs)
now I have learnt to play the game with out targeting NPCs. I still target players in spvp / tpvp as most of the time its melee based combat and this does not affect me.
but I would love to change how my UI looks + the size of all UI elements on my screen so I can optimize the screen space and have my target frame tucked away in a corner causing no issue to ground target skills.
if star wars the old republic MMO (swtor) can let us change all elements of the UI then I am sure you guys at anet can do this. I meen u made first person camera and im sure long ago u said u couldn’t do this for some silly reasons.
so TL:DR
now that we have more advanced camera options its time to have UI customisation while having it disabled for SPVP/TPVP to keep it all the same for esports (LOLOLOL)
