Yes you can. Only minus is that you need to accept every new IP when logging in.

Yes. The devs confirmed that it’s allowed. They also warned that it does not always improve your latency: sometimes it does the exact opposite.

That said, I use one. Without it, I get lots of lag and and a generally unstable connection.
