IIRC (I don’t have crafting high enough yet) you can change stats on ascended gear for relatively cheap if you change your mind on a certain build. Can you also change stats on amulet/trinket/ring/accessory that is bought with laurels?

Basically I bought some ascended stuff with laurels with bad stats before I learned the game.

You cant change stats on anything but Legendaries once you get it.

Some items allow you to pick stats before you use them the first time but thats it.

its only a laurel/commendation cost, just hang on for a week or 2 and get more

dont buy rings with laurels, just do a few fractals (bring help, people are willing to teach).

easy stat changes only come from legendaries and upgradable stat selection backs.

Certain ascended items give you the option to select stats when they become ascended, but they are very few. The spinal blades, There with Yakkington: A Traveler’s Tale, Light of Dwayna, Shadow of Grenth, Chaos of Lyssa, Mawdrey and Quiver of a Thousand Arrows back pieces allowed stat selection as a once off. After you selected the stats, they become fixed.

No. So whatever build you create with Ascended gear, you’re stuck with. Unless you like grinding, that is.
