Guild Wars 2

i am starting a new game with a friend but when we do quests together they dont advance for both of us and i always have to wait for him or he has to wait for me until we complete them individually…
i dont remember this from when i was playing a few months back so has this been changed? are we doing something wrong? do we have to do more except being in a group together?

Each character progresses through hearts at their own rate. If you’re helping each other on all of the kills, you should be relatively close in completion times. It sounds like one person is doing more work than the other, if you’re experiencing wildly different time requirements.

Yea, its kinda strange since other MMOs have parties share the progression of “quests”. Can’t imagine why they decided to do it this way.
