want that as well. nothing like a poorly thought out or accidental guild name with tons of influence on it

We do not offer a guild-name change service at this time. I have suggested that — like character name changes — this may be something we offer through the Gem Store in the future. However, I do not know whether that will be added or not and again, this is not a service that we offer through Support.

I can’t recall reading about the policy having changed, but I suppose it is possible.

with The Megaserver System, this feature is a must.

I am curious why you feel the MegaServer system makes changing Guild names a must.

As far as I understand, Guild names are unique, although Guild tags are not.

because you can have players from other servers in your guild.

or on an other way, Guilds now works in any server , outside WvW ofcourse

You could always have players from other servers in your Guild. MegaServer hasn’t changed that.

I’d love the opportunity to change guild names and I know my guild leader would too.

It wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for all the upgrades, you could just delete the guild and re-make it. But it would take ages to get all those back.

Are you wanting to split the guild into multiple guilds so they behave as they did prior to the megaserver?

Although this enhancement might be implemented in the future, it is not accessible at this time. (Unless there was some stealth patch with no announcement.)

With the new megaserver system, you’ll find it infinitely easier to play with all of your guildmates—and better yet, someday you’ll simply have one guild!

Because worlds no longer separate players, we’ll eventually make sure that guilds are no longer separated either, that every guild member will be contributing to and benefiting from the same unified guild chapter. Until this system is in place, your home-world guild chapter will continue to be the chapter where any influence your character earns is sent and is the chapter visible to you in the guild panel.
