i’ve been told i should be able to overwrite infusions just like regular upgrades but i cant. is this a bug or what?

Can you describe what you are trying to do?

It should overwrite, but just double check that you are overwriting an agony slot with an agony infusion, an offensive slot with an offensive/versatile, ect

I have multiple ascended accessories, like an amulet that has a mighty WvW infusion, and i need to replace them for AR infusions for fractals. I’ve bought +5 AR infusions off of the marketplace but i can’t use them on anything.

Yea seems like you bought some agony infusions, but are trying to put them in offensive/defensive slots.

You have to infuse/mystic forge the accessories first, which grant you a new agony slot (but the process will delete your current infusions since technically it becomes a new item)

There are +5 AR infusions that go in the offensive/defensive slots in the fractals hub zone. Look through the golems’ shopping list and find versatile simple infusion and buy it for 75 fractal relics.
