I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to buy a chinese account. I saw blu playing it and it looks like a bunch of fun.

Anyone else want to play on the chinese servers? Why/Why not?

Not only is buying an account against the T&A you agreed to when making your current account, you’re asking to buy an account that by all means may already have IP restrictions that would prevent you from playing anyways if you did not use a VPN or other service that intentionally “lies” about your IP.

Second, unless you speak Chinese, why would you even want to play there? To feel smug when you’re the first level 80 there? Control the markets and amass the most wealth?

Because I think it would be interesting to play with a different culture?

Blu is streaming on there with 200 viewers, including 2 developers watching him stream.

So please stay on topic.

I don’t believe buying another account is against the ToA, at all. What may be a restriction is region-lock, in that you must register the account from the region in which you purchased it.

According to the Knowledge Base, any questions you have regarding the China client are to be directed to either the China Publisher’s site or the China Release Support site.

If they’re talking about buying a Game Key, then I dont think there’s any problems with it aside from any region-based use restrictions. What I understood the question as, and answered as, was the actual account itself, as in paying someone cash for their login info.

Also, I think if you use the “report” button on the starting post, a moderator can close it faster. It’d be nice if the forums actually had an option to close the thread yourself.

As a point of clarification I -meant- ‘cd key’ even though I initially wrote ‘account’. It’s been so long since I bought my account… cd key… that the term eluded me.

I took the OP to mean (just as he intended) to purchase (for himself) another new account (what most of us call our client and the CD-key to access it) from the site or a retailer.

I didn’t think he meant a used account, but I see the other poster did.
