core PvE daily rewards should be "better"
I usually have the dailies done within 10 minutes, and I get 2 gold for it, sounds fair to me. + the stuff you get for each daily. I would do them for the 2 gold alone though.
But sure, I wouldn’t mind getting more, never say nay to free stuff!
2g for doing dailys and actually “playing the game every day” sounds pretty rewarding to me. I assume the reason PvE, PvP, and WvW rewards are the same is because, people are just comfortable doing one of the other two more. You can’t really blame people for not wanting to participate in other mechanics of the game, especially since there are so many different things you can do in general (daily wise)
What I would suggest, is a seperate reward list for each faction, instead of combining them all into one achievement. Meaning, you can’t combine three of the WvW and PvE dailes and still get the achievement. Instead, doing them seperately in which ever mechanic you want will give you the achievement AND the appropiate rewards based on what ever game mode you choose to do.
That’s my two cents…
I’d be glad enough if the rewards were proportional to the task.
While I like getting free wood/metal/herbs, it’s pretty easy. I feel slightly overcompensated.
Vista Viewer? Easy peasy, but the reward is kinda junk so.. :P
4 Level 80 Zerg Events? Kitten that. It’s not worth a scroll and a tiny karma pot. I don’t do it, unless it’s a very active zone, like HoT maps or Silverwastes. That needs to get changed to Regional events.
It looks like daily JP is gone now. Sad. I like helping people with it.
Daily dungeon at least spurs players into dungeons. Fractals should count as part of the daily list. I’d never need to do fake-PvP again. ^^
Activity Participation needs to move to PvP where it belongs. :\
And Daily Waiting on a Boss to Show Up needs to switch it a generic daily boss killer. Getting lucky enough to align a schedule with a boss within its 2-3 hour window is obnoxious.

For the sake of discussion, let’s pretend that each daily takes the same time to complete (we know that’s not true, but it’s an okay place to start). The substantive rewards for each end up being:
- PvP: 3 units of progress towards an 80-unit reward track, that includes progressing chieves or unlocking skins
- WvW: 3 units of progress towards an 80-unit reward track, that includes progressing chieves or unlocking skins
- PvE: extra mats/gear
Now, that’s obviously different. Is it bad? I dunno. Generally speaking, PvE generates rewards for just about anything we do, so it seems fair to beef up the other modes. Is it reasonable that a “month” of PvP/WvW dailies offers 4 dungeons skins + a bunch of tokens? Maybe not since the equivalent PvE reward requires completing ~13 dungeon paths.
In the end, I try not to get too worked up about it. I’d like to see some more variety in dailies; I’m also okay with the system the way it is. I try not to let my enjoyment of the game depend too much on the rewards.
2 gold is plenty of reward for the effort involved. The other stuff is icing on the cake.

There was a JP daily yesterday, the NE corner of LA one.
I also think the 2g reward for doing on average 10-15mins of small stuff is plenty. If anything there’s a small feeling of guilt for getting rewarded for just viewing a vista or farming a few nodes and basically not actually doing anything lol.
That said I won’t exactly be complaining if rewards go up.
Kinda wish they’d improve the Vista rewards but require a specific Vista, maybe use game data and send people to the least visited ones first. As it is now it’s pretty much always the same ones that get visited… I mean, it’s easy, but not very engaging…
then the idea should be that the pvp and wvw shouldn’t count for the three daily achievements?
I get the reason of current daily is to allow players with different game mode preferences to finish daily. There are hardcore players of each mode i got it, but there are very casual players that do all kinds of contents with very little daily game time. They can still finish daily by mixing different game mode daily, which imo is perfectly fine as is.
The other reason daily achievemnt can be mixed, is to lurk players into trying different mode. I was a casual pve players but i do easy pvp and wvw daily until one day, i get in love with wvw and now 99% play time i am with wvw.
