Q:
creating more than one ad infinitum
Like other legendaries introduced in HoT, the final pieces are dependent on completing a collection and you can only do that once.
tl;dr no, you can’t make two
This has nothing to do with this topic:
my guild is called Singularity ad Infinitum, the title caught my attention for that reason alone lol, I couldn’t figure out why someone would want to make another one.
Don’t know a thing about the legendaries, I’ll be going now heh.
Well that’s certainly disappointing. Would be nice to be able to buy the required mats obtained through the collection process from a vendor if you wanted a second one.

We can’t do it with any other HoT Legendary — I’m not sure why A/I should be any different.
You could always craft another ascended backpiece, like the misting forge ones, and change the skin

I haven’t crafted any legendaries yet, so if I am wrong about this then I apologize. But from my understanding, with the first generation of legendaries, you are allowed to do this (buy the materials needed to craft the precursor that come from the collection from the merchants after you complete the collection), and it just makes sense to extend that to the new generation of legendaries if people want to do so. Doesn’t hurt anybody since the legendaries themselves would still be untradeable and you would still have to gather all of the regular mats needed to craft them.
