Not sure if this has been covered. But in any case, i would love to get some cultural back pieces for each race. The back pieces would be available only to the race you chose, and there would be a kitten, t3 for each race, effectively giving us 3 unique back pieces customized for each race. Anyways, not sure what they could be but thats what you guys and your brilliant imaginations are for.

My examples
Charr
-warband

Sylvari
-stuff to do with the pale tree?

Human
-not sure yet, since no capes

asura
-infinities balls, and such. maybe some kind of invention?

Thats about as far as i got, anyways thanks for the read!

It’d be nice to see some cool back items that aren’t luck based.

While cultural back pieces would be nice to see… I wonder if they are really necessary. I’m leaning towards “no.”

Its just for looks. Nothing is “necessary” in guild wars 2. Gem store skins, legendaries, none of that is necessary, but if you like the look then go for it.

There wasn’t enough time.

Notice that your backpiece already has a checkbox to hide/display it – like gloves and helments – even though most backpieces have no in-game model.

This should actually be in the Suggestion forum. That being said, I think it’s a good idea. The default “Guild” backpacks don’t look great, and most of the in game back pieces don’t have a look at all. Most of the back pieces you see running around are either gem store or event related. It’d be nice to see some more default “in-game” skins.

Humans should get capes since the only reason we don’t have them is because the dumb races like charr have clipping issues

There is still no developer confirmation on whether that is even true.

Lol! Just let the weeny races have their superhero pajamas already. It’s pretty hilarious watching them all scurry about in their blankies.

Indeed, I have kept the exotic wraith chains from arah P3 that currently have no model just in case they ever add one.

Norn: Portable keg, with straw/mug.

Anyways, this should probably be in the suggestions forum .

Norn: 4 skins, respresenting each of the four animal spirts
Human: 6 skins, representing each god
Char: 3 skins representing warband
Sylvari: 4 skins representing cycles
Asura: 3 skins representing college

eh, they’re in the character biographies might as well give them a little more representation in game.

Let us buy vendor mats (eg spools of thread) in 250 stacks, end the excessive clicking.

Except the new ascended gear and the infusions they will soon release. Who wants to be dead weight in a party, right?

Unless your party is full of elitests, I doubt they care if you have ascended. Unless its fractals, where infused items become mandatory.

I second this, I would love to actually be able to sheath my weapons in a SHEATH instead of constantly skewering them into my back and shoulder items or having them float at my side.

Any new skins that don’t require gems would be a good thing. That said, I would prefer they did away with the current cultural things and just make them skins so I didn’t need to get transmute stones :/

Something that is really missing in the game: quivers
There is only two quivers, the ascended one and Rox’s one.
Its funny to see characters shooting arrows from nowhere…but hurting in the long run.
The norn could have also their quivers, based upon wild spirits (with etchings, furring of various animals, hunter’s arrows with specific etched ivory heads).
For asura, quivers designed to fit the culturals medium sets, technomagicals…
…the sylvari, vegetal with flowers, glowing leaves and living arrows ( leafs as stabilizers, green wood and translucent heads) as exemples.

But also bags (we are supposed to be adventurers…not farmers…isnt it ?); so where do we pack all our equippment ? for exemples, students bags for asura with documents, unfinished experiences, golems crystals (with emblems of university); for humans, bags related to differents cultures, as exemple, an vabbian bag, tressed and full of jewels, kurzick, dark-gothic with some embers and tincted with colors of ferns and petrified trees; or a pirate bag, in the tradition of Lion’s Arch…
Or simply for charrs, war-bags with colors and emblems of the legion.

The ideas are infinite…
