Is anyone else running into that wonderful problem where you’ve just got one thing left on the daily list and POOF it resets and you’ve got to start all over again, would it not be more reasonable to have a daily be a daily relative to the character not the server..

I.E your daily resets based on when you finish it on a timer, if I complete my daily at 4pm, then until 4pm the next day it is on cool down. This would make it less of a pain in the kitten for people who aren’t able to play at the exact hours optimal for the current reset time,

Then everyone would have different daily times. I think that would be confusing and hard to implement. I agree that they don’t really make it clear that 7pm is when the server resets. I only found that out after I reached 80.

Please tell me not that your only free time to play is between 23:59 GTM and 0:01 GTM. Because that is the only valid case to complain.

It doesn’t matter when the daily resets, you still only have 24 hours to do it. Whether it resets at noon, at 7:00pm, or at midnight, it doesn’t matter. You still have 24 hours to get it finished.

Just like it is now? Every day at 0.00 GMT you have a full 24 hours to complete it, I can only see this being an issue if you only get to play from 23.30 to 00.30. Sure, sometimes when I go out or have to do some extra hours at work and don’t have time to do the dailies, but I’ve come to realize that just because it says its daily it doesn’t mean I really need to do it every day.

I seriously hope this is never implemented. Given my erratic schedule it would mean I would end up losing days as opposed to how it is now.

They reset at the same time every day so it’s your own fault if you fail to finish it.

I would hate that, I like that I can log in and finish my final daily stuff and then an hour or two later, get started on my next daily. I also know that it resets at 4pm server time everyday, so I find that deadline motivational to get it done before it expires.

No need to be rude to trapline. His complaint is valid. I have the same problem — I play between 23:00 and 2:00 UTC, and reset is right smack in the middle of my playtime.

Finish dailies.

[RESET]

Start dailies.

[LOG OUT]

Repeat daily. Or just do them during the two hours after reset. They take about 1-2 hrs if you take a casual approach, less than an hour if you concentrate on the specific activities necessary to complete 5 of the categories.
