I want to ask why only in GW2 players keep getting dc + skills delay + skills lag?

I play another MMO games there is no lag like Blizzard games and some of them in Steam.

When you will fix all these things we been waiting from 4 years and its still same?

I was seeing some horrible lag last night with the time between me pressing a button for the skill and the skill going off were like almost a second. But later it was fine, so I just chalked it up to general internet lagginess.

The reason it can apply to some-but-not-all things is that the Internet is more like “all the roads in a city” than “the interstate” — there are many ways to get from point A to point B, and many destinations. If one road is all messed up, you might not even notice if you drive a different route.

I am playing a lot of games online.

Are the other games you play located in the same data center and use the exact same route to get to the servers? If not, just because you have issues with GW2 doesn’t mean that there is a problem with GW2.

There could be a segment of the route that your traffic hits and slows down. This is what the friendly SlippyCheese was trying to get across to you. There is not an overarching issue with lag and skill lag for everyone. If there was, you would see many more topics on the forums about this issue. Please try and see if there is an issue with your ISP routing your GW2 traffic to an internet segment that is causing your lag.

Please don’t just assume that there is a problem on ANet’s end when you have not yet ruled out other issues.
