half the players dont rep the guild. the ones repping never talks. i been in 4 different guilds now and not been happy. i’m in my fourth guild now and planning to move on because the leader is too scared to get people to rep the guild. he is always in vent with his friends (the officers) and rarely talks to anyone else.

i usually ask questions like “who wants to do dungeons?” or “anyone want to party?” no one answers. cool.

Had a similar issue in most guilds I found, just no one seemed very social…sept for 2-4 people in the vent/skype…

Get on vent? I know our old wow guild was a vent guild. You could spam guild chat for hours but unless it was raid time.. forget it.

Why would anyone not rep a guild when you can establish your own even if you play solo and get some bank space out of it if nothing else?

And as for VOIP, well, future MMOs should provide that service built in from now on, especially ones like GW2 where the game mechanics make both reading text and responding so kitten inconvenient. My guess is, if this industry as a whole survives, we will have real, built-in VOIP standard in the near future. It’s sadly necessary.
