do you want more underwater weapons?
Once they run out of ideas for not-underwater weapons, maybe…

hmmm possible.
but as of now, it seems like not much choices for aquatic weapons.
or maybe that’s just me? O_O
i still like Kraitkin. but no point to make it…no one see it. lol

hmmm we need more underwater regions …
not orr though. pls no more risen.
a new type of underwater creatures for a brand new underwater region!
that be nice.
Uh…. no. No more underwater stuff. What we have is already bad enough. Maybe we will get lucky and the underwater dragon will actually drink all the water…or something.
as i said its too hard to create new underwater weapon. cause not one get there. the only way its attract people to visit.
only one way to do it like new race or new dungeon.
i think new race can get more people attract. but is that possible?

lol
I would have liked more underwater weapons and a rework of the underwater mechanics, to go with an all underwater zone.
Now I have an 80 Engineer and since I have bombs and grenades who needs underwater weapons?
Seriously, I couldn’t believe how cool an Engi is underwater.
I do love underwater areas though and allover underwater combat needs a rework both in terms of weapons and traits especially elites. Not everyone is lucky enough to play an Engi.
I would love an underwater zone and an underwater race

Not new weapons per se, but the ability to use land weapons underwater if appropriate, and also opposite, using underwater weapons on land.
I want to see more interesting underwater content before any weapons are added. Most of your time underwater is spent prodding at very large bosses that clip through everything because they’re so large. See how clunky a battle with an oversized fish is compared to a battle with an equally large mobile boss on land (e.g. CoF P1 boss).
The underwater experience is also quite underwhelming depending on the class you play. I hate bringing my Guardian underwater because of the low damage attacks (most DPS seems to come from static fields that even dumb mobs get out of the way of if they’re not sinking). On the other hand my Mesmer seems a lot better underwater with more damage, an actual melee, and the same ability to sink or pull.
You also need an underwater town or staging area for people to show off their underwater weapons.
Can’t think of any specific weapons, but I think a nifty Elite skill on a 5 hour cool down might be:
Release the Kraken!
The less time I spend in water in this game, the less rage at the end of the play period
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
Yes. I want to be a mermaid underwater! But seriously, I’d like new underwater face gear & more underwater weapons, There needs to be new dungeons with just underwater fighting – like the paths themselves are underwater; not just that one fractals level where you turn into a dolphin, although it is cool

This! However, that would mean more skills and honestly, I would rather have them create skills for the land weapons before we go any further down that road mainly because I think it’s safe to say we all spend more time on land whether it’s Tyria or in the Mist.
TBH IMO, When it comes to underwater combat…I’m glad we have it. Even in it’s current form, it’s better than 99% of what other MMO’s have. Sure there are complaints about it, can’t please everyone. It’s an on occasion type thing. Sunken worlds and then back to the day to day fight. Sometimes a lake is easier to swim across to get to point B so I’m glad we have swimming in general.
Underwater does make for some great exploration, especially if there’s a cave system attached. They should add some pitch black caves underwater that you need to bring light for and then have some crazy beast down/in there.
I love the underwater play in this game, in fact exploring for me is more fun underwater – ive seen land scenery a thousand times in rpgs. Yes its pretty, but its same old same old. Underwater looks and feels new.
Not sure about new weapons though, maybe with new UW zones and an UW city.
As to what? Tricky.. a net maybe, but thats hardly exciting. Could be anything really. The ele trident doesn’t actually generate attacks after all..
I love underwater gameplay too, they just need to make wet versions of all utility skills. Sucks entering the water as Thief and having 0 skills and elites. Then they can happily add more underwater content.
I also still crave a Giant Turtle boss as big as bigger than Jormag.
Well, theres that teaser UW boss from the end of the roiginal GW2 trailer..
I’d like the ability to use some of the current weapons under water (but with slightly different abilities). If we can use a spear underwater, why not a sword? If we can use a trident, why not a scepter? And why can’t we use a torch under water!? Ok…maybe that one makes sense. But I’m serious about the others, and more!

They need to make underwater activities more enjoyable first. At this stage too many skills are locked underwater imo
I guess the issue is you can’t use normal weapons underwater
or can’t use them well.
what else weapons could there be suggest that insent of just asking
Underwater is pretty much a chore but I’ll be honest on my Engi it is fun lol
Not enough to do the mega sharks fun otherwise there would be engi’s aplenty but they imho are the funnest profession underwater.
I don’t really care about underwater combat after dealing with the mobs turning invulnerable just because they are slightly lower than me.
Didn’t care for how mobs could have such a short leash also.
Didn’t care for it anyway.
Tend to avoid mobs if I can unless I absolutely have to deal with them underwater.
hmmm what about this …
our [land weapons] get new [under water skills] when submerged and
our [under water weapons] get new [land skills] when on surface? too complex? O_O
