On my 80 I got 5 80 transmute stones.

On my 75 I was getting black lion repair kits.

On my noobs I was getting just the gold coin.

Does level determine the bonus item?

I would MUCH rather get black lion repair kits than the basic transmute stones…

He said “5 80 transmute stones” so I think he means 5 Fine Transmutation Stones.
Anyway yeah many rewards scale with level, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

It definitely depends on luck too.
I usually get just karma and a coin on my lv80 character…
Or maybe it’s based on how many dailies you’ve completed recently. I dunno.

Do we only get karma jugs now? Whilst I do appreciate them, I’d love to get fine transmute stones more though.

no I’ve gotten different items and only gotten the jug with my lowbie.

Thats great to hear! I was worried after the change I won’t have a chance of getting fine transmute stones anymore.

I got 5 fine transmute stones on my lvl 17 alt so yeah, I don’t think that the possible item reward is lvl dependant.

Wait, karma jugs are a guaranteed reward for dailies? I thought they were just added to the pool of special items you had a small chance of getting(like the BL-kits and boosters).

how often did u guys get something more than just mystic coins from dailies(b4 karma jugs were introduced)? i’ve done dailies pretty much everyday since release and i’ve only gotten something more than just coins twice. ever.

Only once since the jugs were introduced did I only get a coin.

But that was on my lowbie character. Since then I have been finishing the dailies on my higher level characters and gotten repair kits or the level 80 transmute stones, and one bank access today.

While I was leveling up my first character, I’ve got a lot of stuff. BL kits, Boosters, repair kits, revive orbs, etc., but when I neared level 80 the rewards dropped off to almost nothing. During the last two weeks I’ve only gotten a revive orb and a repair kit.
Maybe the drop frequency depends on how much of these special items you have in your bank, because I still have almost all of my boosters(used only one) and the first of three BL kits still has some uses left. I also used two or three transmutation stones, but that’s about it.
I could see ANet having implemented some sort of DR on hoarding these items, even if there are account/soulbound.

I think it’s random. My 80 gets anything from karma jugs to cotton bolts.

as far as i have experienced the only differences are the cash amount and the XP the lower the level the lower the amount the rest of the items i have received have been similar with my lower level chars and higher level ones
