hi im an aussie player and recently returned to play and all i notice is how empty it seems. silverwastes events are always a fail because im the only one ever there and i have even stayed awake until 3 am in the hope that US players are there but no it just always seems so empty. loads of people in the cities but none in the maps. just wondering what to do as i really like this game but playing alone gets rather boring. i am already in one of the largest guilds and even they tell me that they are having the same issues. any ideas on what i can do that doesnt require 100 + people on to do it ? if pvp and wvw are the only options then i may as well find a new game but im hoping its not all thats left in this once fine game

- open your contacts panel
- look for people taxying into SW maps
- join such a group, teleport into that persons instance of SW
- …

Do you play on US servers? Because that might explain why you have low population during your playtime.

Also, as Cyninja said, most people taxi to the same map so they can muster enough people for the events. Monitor the LFG tab and look for people populating a SW map, join their group, then join their instance, then leave group so they can taxi more people.

EDIT: Your 3am is like our 1pm, which is definitely not peak hours by any stretch of the imagination. If you want to play during US peak, you need to play at like 10-11am.

Hi darkcyn. I try to get a couple of Vinewraths done each evening so feel free to add me to your friends list if you want. If you see me in Silverwastes you can ask for a taxi and then bring your mates. Working atm so I’ll just be running lowbies (if I even make it back on tonight)..

silverwaste was basically empty because of yesterday beta test on the expansion thats how i saw it! an it should be normal today an like the other 2 said invite people to map to help out

i dont know anyone. my brother used to play with a bunch of other aussies but they have all given it up. i didnt know you could search maps for players so i will try that. just a bit disillusioned with it and dont want to just quit an account thats had nearly $300 spent on it. i play on sea of sorrows and when i joined at release it was the unofficial oceana server. its been nearly 6 months since i played this hardcore and im still trying to figure the lfg tool out. thx for the replies, i will try and use your advice

Must be beta or a US thing. Its been heaving in EU peak time…ive had back to back flawless victory maps most of this week.

Lfg will help you a lot get nto the more populated maps if you are joining the empty ones
