every time i’m at the log in screen i am flooded with ‘news’ and interviews about pvp teams. it’s kind of like being forced to subscribe to a newspaper you don’t read.
maybe diversify or something?

If you don’t like something, ignore it and continue about your day. I’m sure someone cares and likes the messages and then still closes them and continues about their day.

The only time I ever read those is if a big patch drops and I want to read the notes.

0% care about esports, rather not see the reminders either, I’m with you op. The reminders on the right side of the UI should be able to be dismissed and I thought that since day 1. A reminder is fine, obstructing the screen is not fine.

It would be interesting to rework it to show something useful, but that’s of course a matter of personal opinion.

Click the autoplay button. When you log in, close your eyes and count to ten while thinking about puppies.

Nearly every mmo I’ve played growing up has had a patch screen (the initial screen where you login). And every patch screen has always had game-related news. What, you want them to share family recipes and local farmer market news, lol?! It’s not like it automatically opens your browser to the latest news and doesn’t let you login until you scroll to the bottom of the current web page. Haha. It’s literally a tiny line of text under “news feed”. People will really complain about anything wont they, hahahaha.

Look, convincing people they should PvP so they can maybe be internet famous and make a couple thousand dollars is cheaper and easier than fixing its glaring design flaws and making it more attractive to a larger audience.

Literally the entire games industry has jumped on this bandwagon, just like the microtransaction bandwagon before it, because they’re businesses with bottom lines, and creating that coveted fully voiced, immersive, story driven PvE content we expect from them now has become significantly more expensive to produce at what people consider a “AAA experience” level.

So, basically, deal with the minor inconvenience because its entire goal is to spend less time and money developing PvP so those resources can be used elsewhere.

Is it just me or has there been nothing but complaint posts about minor after minor issue lately? Like most if ghrsr things don’t bother most people, what is the deal lately? It was never this bad before. I don’t even read that I just login and hit that play button.

if you’ve read my recent replies, yeah. ‘ignore it’ was the proper response. i posted the original one because i’m just tired about hearing about pvp tournaments.
