Guild Wars 2

Just watched the new Consortium lore video and I noticed the esrb notice. Does anyone else think it’s a little…off?

I mean, apart from the fact that none of the mentioned ‘hazards’ appear in the video, even in the game it’s hardly a fitting description. There is no visual bleeding anywhere in the game, the alcohol consist of double clicking an icon so it might be out as well. There’s no significant form of swearing so a language warning seems absurd too. The only thing that is appropriate is the violence warning.

Makes me wonder what the esrb rating on Mario is…

I haven’t looked at ESRB ratings in years; they really don’t tell you anything about the game and tend to be way off (it figures though, considering the esrb is ran by a bunch of dumb kitten that know like nothing about games at all and was something created because a few soccer moms couldn’t figure out that games with fighting in them actually had fighting in them…).

underwater skills like ranger speargun 3 has a big cloud of blood and some blood in cutscenes, that’s what it’s on about with bleeding.

and swearing, have you ever stood around seraph npc’s talking about centaurs? lol :P

I know little of the rating system or what rating GW2 has but I imagine it has to do with the content that is possible in the chat system. It may have a language filter you can turn on but that doesn’t stop what can be said avoiding the filter…
