I dont play much, but earlier I had this buff on me with a 5min timer or something….said "It feels like you’re being watched’.

Anyone know what this is? I was doing one of the events.

It is a sonic periscope. It is part of the Flame and Frost content update.

Look in your character console under Living Story for the stuff you need to do to complete its contents. Also, blow up the periscopes if you can find them.

It’s the Anet devs. They are tracking player movements and actions in that area in order to custom tailor gem store advertisements in an effort to increase gem store sales, man! You gotta see through all that! Asuran mind control devices! Charr-trails man!

Talk to the living story NPCs that are all over the zone. They have the yellow star on a scroll icon. They all say the same things, so you only need to talk to one.
