flax seeds need to reset hourly
Oh I don’t know about that tbh……
Parking alt chars out there works well and is pretty much one of the few perks that players with alts get.
flax seed farm in VB need to reset hourly like elder wood in malchors leap and the drop rate for fax fibre should be increased
It needs to? Why?
The flax node farm is like every other node farm in the game: it resets daily. In addition, there are lots of other sources of flax nodes.
Seems fine. Reasonable value and reasonable to obtain.
You could get the elder wood from malchor which already resets hourly and sell that to buy the flax seeds. Every 5.6 Elder Wood tree is equal to the VB flax farm.

I have no idea why people loath the idea of doing this sort of thing so much; we are in a game with a reasonably healthy economy, so you can do anything to farm almost anything.
Hate cutting things down? Kill world bosses, sell the loot and salvage, buy flax. Hate zergs? Complete map events, sell the loot, etc.
Nothing forces you to farm directly for the thing you want for almost everything, and that’s really, really good. The few things that you can only get account-bound are actually more painful, and I wish they were unlocked, because the flexibility of “sell for gold, buy with gold” is so useful!

To be fair, there’s a group of gamers who prefer to “live off the land” — they want to “earn” each and every thing. The TP is merely something to be tolerated, perhaps used in a dire emergency; it isn’t something that they want to rely on. I believe a lot of people end up in this group because it is what they are used to, from older games. However, I’ve also met newer gamers who follow this philosophy.
In short, there are many who see a healthy trading economy as a negative, since it turns everything into how quickly one can earn gold.
I accept that people feel this way. All the same, I don’t think the game needs to change to accommodate their preferences. In the long run, a healthy economy — which includes some materials that are rare and expensive — is better for the game and the community, even if it bugs some people some of the time.
