why? just why? its so annoying… and completely pointless if your going to break a waypoint and keep it broken then at least give it a visual reason aka vines or something…

There is a visual. If you go over to it, its in pieces on the ground.

They might not bring it back. People used to congregate in the center of Lions Arch, first by the old bank and mystic forge then by the Mariner Waypoint and the racial cities were underutilized. Removing those two sites has caused people people to spread out to other places in LA as well as go to the racial cities.

I’d rather ask the question, why havent LA been rebuilt yet?

All that money we donated specifically for that purpose went into “hero”-trons pockets?

If that’s the case, they should just remove it completely. I find it frustrating that it is forever contested and that I cannot use it… but it is still there. If they are never going to fix the kitten thing, why bother leaving the stupid icon on the map?

It makes no sense whatsoever…

There are a few waypoints permanently contested after being destroyed by Modremoth’s vines.

Perhaps, once he/it is destroyed, the Asura will repair/replace those waypoints. No biggie. It’s only a few seconds’ run from the other waypoint.

I think the only thing that makes that point bad is the guild related things there, but other then that, it not that big of a deal to walk there from that waypoint the south east from there.

hey if you want to go at Fort Marriner very fast … from anywhere in the world just enter the PvP lobby then exit the PvP zone by using the Asura gate to LA .. boom you’re at fort marriner

Thistlereed Waypoint in Timberline Falls is also still destroyed

It’s too difficult to get an Asura to bring and install a new waypoint.

You see how long it takes Lions Arch’s workers to make a bridge usable again by laying planks over the holes? Now imagine how long it takes the workers to install something as technically advanced as a Waypoint!

Also I think Mordi did something to the Ley-Lines powering the waypoint, so setting up a new one probably won’t be possible as long as he’s alive.

They’re now at Postern Ward, right next to the fractals gate.

I rather ask why aren’t there more Guild banks in lions arch or one in spvp. I hate that waypoint since it makes me run farther to guild bank. WvW isn’t always reliable guild bank zone with ques or upgrading.

Go to Postern Ward Waypoint and run to the guild bank there.
