I am frustrated with crashes. I do realize that crashes do happen on stressed servers. I am frustrated that there is not way to get back to where you where. You can have done 90% of the new content, client crashes and you are in an overflow. I have been in groups for such things as teq but there is no guaranteed chance of getting back into the proper server even with this.
After the crash you do not get credit for events, you do not get to progress to the next phase and you get no drops. Three attempts now with Scarlet (not a lot but over 2 days at least one should have gotten me to the end).
It has come to a point where I don’t know if I will attempt scarlet again since there is not much chance of actually getting the credit anyway.

Id be more worried about what is causing your computer to crash to be honest, rather than the rewards your missing.

If it where just my machine then fine. Since each time I crashed out of Scarlet at least 5-10 others also did it, it could very well be a game side problem.
My system is 2 years old, i7 3770, 6 gig ram and GTX 680. If those specs are too low than fine, I guess I will need to avoid this content.

On topic: Server stability isn’t all that good, tbh. Plenty of people in my guild crash far too often for me to believe this isn’t a wider scale problem.

are you implying that because you crash constantly(while most of the community is rather surprised by it) is because of stressed servers?

Our guild is experiencing an increased amount of crashes as well, however it was in WvW in stressed situations rather then LA.

Because you did not experience an issue, does not mean that there might not be an issue. Only by posting can people find out if more people experience it and see if it is their system or not. And also because you did not experience something does not mean it is not a valid complain/question.

It’s took me my forth try to manage without a crash or bug. My system isn’t the best (Quadcore Q8200, Radeon 4850, 3GB Ram, getting a new PC though in a few days) so your Hardware should is good. Sometimes FormatC and reinstall is good though (once a year).

Also my Internet sometimes drops for 10-20 seconds lately due to problems with my supplier. And then with the server sided problems it’s been frustrating and I understand you problem ^^

I’d like to be able to join back into a longlasting event also, say if I log back on in a certain frametime (2-5 min). Imo it’s a legitimate request which also can be discussed on a forum.

I’ve actually been rewarded for Tequatl before after I dc’d and didn’t log back on, for the first two phases. So I guess it can work that way.

Anyway I’d suggest to reinstall your software and see if it helps. Can’t do any harm anyway.

At least you’re in. I’m having internet issues and its taking forever to update. I hope like hell its stable when I can finally get in and hitting stuff.

I agree with OP.

The server wide crashes have become more prominent recently. Most of these recent crashes has zero to do with player’s computer specs/connection issues.

This is a real issue and is causing a lot of things, especially the new content, to be nearly unplayable. There is nothing like the feel of wasting 3-4 hours for no loot and no rewards and no progress.

I don’t think this is 100% tech related which is why I put it here. There should be a way for the system to remember that you where at a location. It needs to remember that you did x damage to get gold etc damage during an event so there is a control of a sort.
It also is very irregular for me to see so many disconnects and wonder if others besides those who say in chat that they also got disconnected where affected.
