future elite specs shld change weapon skills

because it struck me that if every future new elite spec granted a new weapon to each class, then all classes will have access to all weapons in no time.
A lot of people would consider that the goal, rather than something to be avoided. I have some sword skins that I really like (Fiery Dragon Sword, for example,) but can’t equip on my main because I play Elementalist. If a future elite spec simply gives me another set of Scepter skills, I don’t get access to a new set of skin options to choose from.
Ever thought about it maybe for a single second OP, that the thing what you want OP can be done also just simply without using Elite Specializations for that???
I guess not …
ES are especially therefore there, that they give our Classes some kind of horizontal Progression by developing themself further into specialized directions and therefore are new Skilsl through using different weapons just the best thing for.
What you want OP is just more Skill Diversity and that is something what Anet simply can and should do with an own different system.
What ANet needs to add to the game to provide more Skill Diversity among the Weapon Skills as a “Combat Style” System, which based on the chosen Combat Style that should be exchangeable like switching Weapons out with some kind of cooldown our Weapon Skill Sets.
Give all Weapons like 3-4 Combat Styles and there you go, you will have instantly alot more Skill Diversity and alot more Tactical Gameplay in the whole Combat System of GW2, because of players beign then able to change in combat they combat styles and with then the way how you play the class by usign completely different Weapon Skill Sets.
Your Necromancer Example with my Combat Style Concept:
Standard Style Staff = Mark Skills > Condition Pressure/ Soft Crowd Control
Support Style Staff = Summon Skills > Group DPS Increase/ Tanking
Offensive Style Staff = Hex Skills > Direct Damage DPS/ Self Sustain
Defensive Style Staff = Ritual Skills > Healing/ Boon Support
Just from looking at this it should be directly clear, that something like this would exponentially increase the total amount of Skills in the Game by alot, especially for classes like the Elementalist would they skyrocket, but you would exactly have what you want OP – Skill Diversity by using just the same Weapon in different ways and that totally withlout using the ES System for that, which should be exclusively to horizontal Character Development giving Classes more choices of using different Weapon Types and differente Skill Types.
Using ES just only to change Skills of already existing useable Weapons for them would be in my opinion a pure waste of potential from that System.
