I wonder if there will ever be a future expansion on the current racial armors we have in game? There is a ton of concept art for all the races out there depicting various sets of armor or all three types that never made it into the game, most of which looks better than whats in game atm. Ive given up hope that all the placeholder gear in game will eventually be replaced, as it seems anet too have given up on it after so many years. The Charr race seriously could use more gear that actually fits and looks good on the model.

How did the game stray so far away from the concepts and closer to kpop asian mmo?

Well, after almost 5 years and no additional cultural armor I’m going to say it’s a faint hope. Realistically the best that can be hoped for, imo, is ANet taking more care to make sure the armors that are made fit each race. As for cultural armor itself, I’m going to guess that what will be made instead is cultural outfits. They already have a few of those.

While more racial armors would be nice, wouldn’t it be better if the effort Anet puts into armor would be usable by all races? They could make 5 sets of which any particular race could wear only one, or 5 sets that each race could wear all of.
