gem store items added to dungs
I’m assuming by “dungs” you mean dungeons? How would adding gem store items to different dungeons make them money?
Are you thinking more people would buy the game if the rewards for completing dungeons were gem store items? Or….?
If so, I would think any loot or maybe just chest drops would work for that, but I am not sure that would bring any more people to the game.
Ideas are always good, though, and best posted in the suggestion forum. =)
Assuming you are talking about dungeon tokens….I could see that being a decent option. Though it’s a less profitable one for Anet, so doubtful it would come to fruition.
Just a idea fora Anet to make some more money. remove the gold>gems exchange, add the gem store items to the diffrent dungs. why? it gives ppl a reason to run the dungs, it adds an extra exitement to the dungs. overall a win win,

That doesn’t get them extra money. All that does is loses them money by giving away stuff they’re trying to make money off of for free. Why would they do that? I mean, they’re currently doing that now for the SAB for those that want to farm it for select things (Zommoros crystals and Super Fun Boxes, for example). That’s basically good charity towards the players on some things, but the rest is staying the store to sell it. Your methods and ideas….that brings them nothing; no new money or anything. You’re basically asking them to shut down the Gem store. Why?!

Never can tell with kids these days, by dungs he is probably referring to the waste by product left behind by the farmers cows in game. Probably thinks you should find gem store items in every heap of dung you stumble across.

yeh just nvm was a stupid idea some friend and me though out. and yeah dungs=dungeons….
the idea was to make it so that ppl who REAAAAAAALY didnt wanna buy the stuff from the gem store to have another option. would make anet still look like the good guys and would cause less of a kitten storm if they removed it. ofc the chance of getting such item needs to be really low
Anna, for people who REAAAAAAALY don’t want to buy stuff from the gem store (assumeing you mean with real money) why wouldn’t they just take gold —-— >gems —→ buy items?

hmm I really don’t think it would be a sustainable business for them in the long run if they did that, they need to be profitable and to do that they need to keep these convenience items primarily on the gem store.

Well from my understanding the Gold —> gems is mainly a gold sink and is also a way to cut out the gold sellers from the game since there is a legal way to do it.

the gold>gem and gem>gold would effectively be non existent if that happened. That means, no basis of price for gem>gold.
