Hello,

is there a special reason I cannot gift, bank-tabs, character-slots, storage-expanders or crafting-licenses? Bag-Slots however can be gifted. I want to buy a character-slot for a friend of mine, who is short in gems atm. But gemstore not allows this option :S

I think the idea is because they are account upgrades, and you don’t always know if someone has maxed them out. if they have, then the person has a useless gift that they can’t return, or do anything with.

bag slots are not an account upgrade, but a character one. with the amount of characters that can be created, maxing bag slots across all of them would be a feat in itself, and less likely to happen. plus characters can be deleted, so more openings for bag slots, if that ever happens.

edit: if you want to gift your friend a character slot, you could always send them gold that they can exchange for one.

No idea, but as a workaround, buy them a gem store card instead.

Is there a limit to character slots? I ask because I have never heard of any limits and I currently have 24 slots with 23 current toons (1 empty atm). Thanks!!

The limit was 64 for a long time, then it went up to accommodate those already maxed who wanted to make Revenants. I think it may be around 70 now? So it’s pretty rare for anyone to have that many but there is a cap.
