good and bad about guild wars anymore

For real? You expect anybody to take you seriously after writing that? PvP and WvW players would cream their pants if they got half the attention PvE got in the past 3 years.
“…let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die;.”
some of the good things Anet has done in guild wars.
1. great art work.
2 put out a long awaited expansion.
3. gave us plenty to do.
4. gave us lots of choices in building our toon.
5.Gave us place to voice our opinions.
6. gave us a better way to sell items.
7. gave us many options of game play.
8. added small areas while waiting for expansion through living story.
9. added finding a group easier.
10. made it nice with world events.now for the bad
1. did away with the biggest part of living story.
2. destroyed trait system.
3.focused to much on pvp and wvw not pve.
4. didn’t keep promises from guild wars 1.
5. forgets their loyal fans whom built one of the best communities online.
6. keeps negative feedback away from the forums, basically only good feedback stays.
7. taking nodes away so its harder to gather needed crafting materials.
8. focus on new players not loyal fans.
9. forcing us into certain builds.
10. taking away the parts of the game that most people enjoy and trying to force us all to pvp or wvw which isn’t what a lot of us play for.things they could do better
1. let us have all our traits back.
2. respect their community.
3 .nurf the proper things like skill damage instead of everything else.
4. better drop rate.
5. more more attention to open world content.
6. notifying people with gm letting them know why they are being banned ( pulled to jail cell with gm for discussion)
7. more individual definition for the players.i gave good and bad and a few suggestions to make a game i loved go back to its glory. this was a game worth every dime i spent at one time and now i’m at the point if i’m going to spend anymore of my money on it or not. there will have to be some changes for me to be convinced to spend my money on anymore of their products. which for me is a very sad thing

I agree with some of your points, but disagree with others. For instance, PvE gets tons of attention, but WvW is getting especially stale (something that I hope changes with the upcoming expansion pack). We still have yet to see all the fine tuning, and maybe (don’t get your hopes up?) ANet will have some nice WvW surprises for us aside from those mentioned.
I am primarily a PvE player and I have found that I still have plenty to do, but when I go into WvW especially, I am familiar with the maps and the flow of battle because it has been that way for so long. Something needs to shake it up a bit. PvP and WvW need more attention, not less. I get that many people (myself included) consider PvE to be the primary focus of the game, the meat, whereas PvP and WvW are considered the side dishes. That doesn’t mean they can be ignored in favor of PvE, nor should they.
I’ve also seen plenty of negative feedback remain on the forums. I don’t fault them for condensing threads when every single thread on a page talks about the same subject. It just makes it easier to see, even if it does get a little long. For worry #9 under the bad, I’ve found that my ranger now has several viable PvE builds to choos from instead of just sticking him into one that works the best for X content. It’s an improvement, imo.
I do like your idea for ban notification, but you have to consider time resources as well. It sounds like you are talking about an in-game mode of communication. I believe that opening a ticket and discussing matters with support has worked quite well for most people in the past. Also, ANet has shown that they’ve been listening to negative and positive feedback alike with the update to the expansion pack. I know there are still dissenting voices, and that is fine, but ANet did make a change. Every game is going to have good and bad qualities. The important thing is to make sure everyone continues to discuss those matters and that is what the forums are for.
Biased list is biased.
Anyone who even thinks to claim that all bad posts are removed from this forum hasn’t been paying attention.
the fact is, anet did a good job of covering 2 distinct aspects of rpg , first is the war gaming aspect found in gw1 …and 2nd is the adventure aspect of gw2
they need to combine that into one world now. So i’m not ready to say anet let me down because both aspects of rpg are fun, but one is fighting the roll of the dice, and the other is competing vs a live opponent. anet is removing the live opponent factor. even with pvp, you are jumping into a prefab build, that is not “live”
