I took a 6 monthish break from the game. When i came back iwas was pleasantly surprised, got 225 dyes in the mail and found out there were no more repair bill. however, on the repairs thing i kinda felt ripped of for my first year and a half in the game. I think they should reinstate the repair cost for anyone who has completed thier personal story now that is some incentive sorry im throwing grammar out the window im not smart or type savvy enough but i can tickle the giggles out of a pink quaggan oh yeah and i want my witch hat back too! < <punctuation woohoo> all in all though i still dig the heck out of this game anyway that is my crappy opinion what is yours if you are coming back from a hiatus < spell check ftw> or just tell me to take a high dive in a shallow pond have fun storming the castle!

First of all, I doubt Anet even tracks the repairs cost of every character, so I’m not sure how you propose they refund those characters.

The bottom line is that people who paid all those repairs, also had a year and a half of the game. People who start after that are starting from scratch and playing catch up. All the stuff I’ve accumulated in that time, they won’t have at all.

It’s good that Anet made a small change to repair costs, but I don’t think we need to be refunded past repair costs.

I am not sure if I am right but I think that at the same time the update with the free-repair they also nerfed the amount of coin drops from enemies… If that is true, I think it evens out.

Nice too see something possitive, but I can’t keep on topic as I have played from headstart and havent had a break.

You can likely re-attain your Hat of the Witch by speaking to the Black Lion Trader (Armorsmith) in the city of your choice. That is where all Costumes, Town Clothes, etc. can be obtained since the Wardrobe update.
