Since expansion gonna be started, most of other mmorpg usually offer new users some various xp events or better gold farming buff stuffs to catch up old users. isnt it right?

Unlike those other mmorpg games,in GW2 you lvl fast,you dont race to get level in fact,level does not even matter much.If you have problem to play game for 5 days and get 80,then MMORPG games are not for you.You starters got enough by avoiding to pay 50$ more for a game (like we did).

From past events we all know how “Veterans” feel already. Giving another bonus alongside getting the core game for free would just be a slap in the face to them, and would create so much backlash on the forums.

I think a free copy of the core game is enough to help catch new players up.

As already said, new players get enough freebies. There was already recent outrage on the forums about the expansion packs and their prices, doubt anyone wants to see another so soon.

Best thing for anyone new would be to find a good group to get with and experience the content with them. As new players, you may be offered more bells and whistles to bring you in but you’ll get bored of ’em eventually.

not that it really matters in GW2s absence of difficulty, but in other games, have you ever been in party with those company powerleveled high level newbies who completely bypassed learning the game, their class or patience for that matter? I tell you, it is the epitomy of fun…

New players get XP Boosters included with their copy of the game. So, there’s their (XP) freebies.
