It’s ridiculous to think that anyone could ever consider a skill like 100-blades “balanced” with results like these.

“Hey everyone! Let’s get warriors, put only signets on, greatswords and rifles, and just faceroll a dungeon! Oh you’re not a warrior? You can’t just teleport the whole group across? Worthless scum, get out of my party.”

A good fix to this would be either to just nerf the 100b damage by about 30%, or to make it do an extra 25% damage, but have an 8 second cast time. Seriously demoralizing here.

When i get my worrair or mismor ill definitely join then one group for cof speed runs.

Actually all the stuff you highlighted are people doing path 1 speedruns. That dungeon path should be changed first before doing anything to warriors.

Groups want DPS for speed runs? I’M SHOCKED.

Eles make AC easier with icebow. Nerf that?
Thieves make every dungeon post-resrushing easier due to stealth reviving. Nerf that?
Guardians make most dungeons easier due to boons and defence. Nerf that?

etc

Who cares about balancing PvE? PvP balancing is what matters. Seriously, I can’t believe people STILL complain about 100b, when other classes have whole mechanics to them that are way more op.

Warriors are popular because they have the highest survivability stats.

It’s got little to do with 100blades.

I honesty like the demand for warriors and mesmers.
Because it’s a great way to show me the mentality of players when creating a group.

I know what you mean. You see those “LF P1 6 MIN FARMS. FULL ZERKER WARRIOR. PING GEAR ON REQUEST!” noobs, thinking they’re so awesome because their glass cannon build works wonders on scripted PvE mobs, and that only to an extent, I believe a full glass cannon team like warr/mes groups are only useful in ONLY p1 cof.

Why do people even want to join those pug speedruns? No one exchanges a word there except when you do something wrong and everyone leaves the group after the run without sayhing anything. I was in one of those groups and I seriously thought they were bots because they didn’t react to anything.

Besides that, A.Net should really give mobs and bosses more mobility, just let them dogde once in a while.

I’m rich and have superpowers.

Huh, just posting it doesn’t appear to make it true, go figure.

100blades has little to do with it.

I’ve joined plenty of parties from gw2lfg.com without mesmers or warriors.

AND I’ve joined the full-warrior parties before. Guess what? Half of them usually don’t even use Greatsword – And this is after doing 1~2 runs a day, 4~5 days a week, for the last 4 months.

And for the record, finding those non-warrior parties is just as fast as finding those all-warrior parties. It’s a non-issue.

And what does it matter if people do favor 100blades for dungeon runs?
It’s a great PvE skill, which holds no consequences to other PvE players.

Working as intended

You realize that those people might had other classes already and thus only missed a Warrior/Thief/Mes in their team?

Some people like to have say 1 guard 1 mes 1 war 1 rang 1 nec, to have a team of unique classes that won’t “overwrite” each other’s things, i.e. two necros is redundant.

I can make a similar post:

http://puu.sh/1YfHT

http://puu.sh/1YfH1

In case they don’t show both are screen caps of the lfg site for two other popular dungeons, AC and FotM. Neither are looking for warriors like the CoF one.

It isn’t the warriors or mesmers that are at fault, it is an easy dungeon with an optimized dps group. It is only one dungeon and two paths. I would love to see how some of these groups do on real dungeons.

If people want this fixed you want to complain about how out of line the path is in terms of difficulty. Otherwise you are just jealous you didn’t roll a dps warrior or mesmer to begin with and want what little Johnny has.

I have done multiple, fast and easy dungeon runs with DPS oriented groups like this (Particularly AC and COF). It really is no wonder why everyone wants a warrior.

I’m guessing you play engineer or ranger? Nobody wants those for speed runs. Is this why you are overreacting and calling for nerfs?

when the groups are asking for ppl in full zerk gear, within specfically mentioning exotic, im often tempted to go buy some cheap white lvl 60 zerk gear and join with that… well it would be without their requirment (and that is while playing a normally condition specced mesmer :P)

Other than that, they are kinda useless though. They need a buff for PvE.

I main a Shouts Warr and a DD Ele and usually I would rather not take Rangers on a speed run. I never really kick them out of party because im too nice but the real issue does not change.

OP, go play a Warrior before you come here and qq.

You nerf 100b and then what? What have you solved here? Nothing. In fact, you have created a problem because there will not be warriors in the game anymore.

Its funny because GS Warriors MAIN source of attack is 100b. That’s it. There’s nothing more than that other than auto attack lol.

aaaaaaaaaaahahahahah! Got a message from the mods saying my post was deleted because it quoted your post that you deleted hahahah lmfao! Then I come back here to see this. what was that about my reasoning or something? haha

also, no it isn’t, that’s why they’re called speed runs, and they’re so specifically tuned towards zerker warrs/mesmers. Time warp + 100b = more damage than any other class combo.

I went full glass cannon with a sword/torch and my group doesn’t mind me taking up a warrior spot. But there is always bias involved.
