Nope this year is a dumbed down light version of the actual halloween event. And we probably wont see this stuff anymore in the future.

In fairness, that cutscene played once in the original Halloween event, and it was so bugged that when I saw it, there was no Mad King in the shot. The statue just blew up for no reason. I think people occasionally forget that Halloween 2012 wasn’t perfect, even though I do like a lot of things it had, some of which haven’t returned.

You can’t fight the Mad King himself this year, but you can fight his son, the Bloody Prince. The Labyrinth, Clocktower, and Lunatic Inquisition are also back, although Reaper’s Rumble has been MIA the past two years.

You can watch the video on Youtube. It was a one-time thing; either you were there the exact moment it happened, or you missed it. It’s not like it played the whole release.

The dungeon where you fought the Mad King was only in the first Halloween, the second (and now this Halloween), the story moved on to the Mad King’s son.

It’s possible, next year, that the story will move on, again…or it may be this version of Halloween from now on. Maybe the first Halloween will be added to the Journal, one day. Only time will tell.

I will say….this Halloween has been quite good, reward-wise. Candy corn falls like rain from the sky. =)

It was the first time in over 200 years that he was able to show himself, of course he was going to do it in style, and blow up the Lion statue!
Until they have time, or get around to adding more to the story, we will see the events between him and his son for Halloween, which isn’t a bad thing.
It’s an event, we got new stuff this year, and we got the fun Labyrinth again, along with the cool hide and seek game.
I see it as two weeks to run in the Laybrinth, met new people, or hang out with people you already know, and partake in the fun.
Met a lot of cool people in the Labyrinth this year, it was a fun two weeks of Halloween madness!
