Guild Wars 2

Hello i have a few questions.

First am i huge fan of PvP but not the sPvP that guild wars has I like arenas like 2v2 3v3 5v5. with hardcore gear (awesome looking) rating like if you are low rating you get qued with people with your kind of rating and the higher you go the better players you face.
does GW2 have that ?

I don’t leveling in GW2. please don’t give me that enjoy the ride speech…
how do i rush it ?
is there a way for me do focus on PvP (arena) sPvP has no influence on gear what so ever its like a different game WvW takes to long and if feels boring for me i like fast BGs
with 40v40 people fighting each other in a incense battle. and when it ends you get awesome gear. How go i get PvPgear in GW2 ? and is there PvP gear.

PS: am lvl 37 not much thats why I ask

The kind of content you say you want does not exist in GW2. It’s either PvE, WvW or sPvP. There is no “arena” or “BGs”.

PvP Matches are 8v8, although Custom Arenas are available now.

For SPvP, you’re automatically levelled to 80, with everything unlocked and all weapons and upgrades available for free.

You gain Rank Points and Glory for participating in matches. Obviously, winning yields more of these.

Glory can be spent in order to purchase PvP rewards, which, in turn, allows you to use the Mystic Forge to create gear (all gear is standard, with the only difference being cosmetics; there is no differentiation in the total base stats available to everyone.)

The higher the rank, the better looking gear that becomes available, and you face off against players of a similar rank.

well i can PvE are the Raids hard cuz i like hard

There are no raids. The equivalent is fractals, as it scales harder the higher you go.
You also don’t make any money in sPvP.

You gain pvp gear by leveling your rank, the higher your rank the better gear you can purcahse (every 10 ranks). There are 5v5 free tournaments, for tourment token you can mystic forge for gear. Everyone has the same stats in sPvP, it’s purely working for cosmetic goal.

You’re going to have to level to 80, gear yourself, to play WvW ‘WELL’. It upscales you, but you’re still weaker than a normal lvl80.

If by raids, you mean instanced content for larger groups, there are none.

Most of the bigger fights are in the open-world. And aside from a few, they aren’t too difficult at peak times.

There are custom arena’s wich you can buy for gems, some ppl have them others don’t.
In a custom arena you can put the settings you like from 1vs1 to 10vs10.

you still need to be 80 to buy ascended gear for agony resistance. Unless you have guildmates willing to run you, no party will take a low level.

if you’re loking for 40v40 BG, its in WvW where it can upwards of 100v100.

And no raids, either. If that’s really the kind of content you want, I would suggest other MMOs. Big ones like Rift are now free to play and they have everything you are asking for.

Rift is awesome but i want to play GW2 as well

There are custom arena’s. You have to buy them for gems or you can look for someone who has an arena to play with.

In these aren’s you choose the map (from all pvp maps), you choose how many players, how many score, how much time etc.

These arena’s you can buy from the gem store and will last for 30 days, afterwards you can add time, by buying those in the gem store.

gw2 have arena with free tournament of 5v5 with point capture game style.
if your team wins you get gear that is only cosmetic, but you also get glory to buy chests with random gear in it (also cosmetic).

stat wise you are instantly lv80, you trait as you like for free and can buy runes and sigil for free.

so since rank 1 you can theoretically compete with a rank 50. the only difference is experience and knowing the game style and classes pro and cons. also the maps and tactics and so on.

world vs world is slow paced and require you to gain exp and be a real lv 80 in order to compete with another lv 80.
but if you die there it means something, either repair cost or running back where the battle was.

Going to the PvP lobby in GW2 is like going to the stockroom in The Matrix.

Yes, it’s that easy! None of that leveling through PvE nonsense if you want to PvP. None of that running PvE content for trinkets. Instant 80 with your choice of stats, runes, sigils, weapons, all of your traits and abilities cranked up to max and jump right into tournament play!

The skins are earned through Glory and Achievement Chests.

i really love how pvp works, the locker the stats and everything, and when you are tired of a build you can change it easily for free. and when you are sick of a class, in 1 second you can have a second class ready to go!

I don’t get rewarded the only way to get meaningful gear is to PvE :\

Hah no i had my post taken down because of some “Bad Words”
but in my both posts i asked two things
First how do i enjoy pvp (am i missing something ?)
and second is this game for Casual PvE (like holding your hand the entire dung)
and no i was not trolling if i was it wold be obvious, i mean how can questions be trolling ?
