Would it be possible to create a single home instance? I have things spread between characters like farming nodes and it would be nice to have them all in one place.

Your home instance is account wide.

Home instances are already account wide.

Anet needs to update the information because everything in game talks about it at a character level, like the farming nodes.

One way to tell is to go into your home instance on different characters to do your daily harvest and see what’s there.

Not only is it account-wide, but one can visit others’ Home Instances (if invited) and reap others’ benefits! =)

And not only that — you don’t have to go to your own racial home instance! You can mine your nodes in whatever city you find most convenient regardless of what alt you’re on. Daily, of course, if you clear the nodes in Rata Sum they’ll also be gone in DR for the day.
