I’ve already used the in game “report inappropriate name” function but I don’t think it’ll be clear that it’s regarding the guild name/tag. thanks

Pet names also are sometimes extremely offensive, no way to report the owner.

Submit a ticket. Be sure to get the display name (the Name.xxxx) like what shows on the forum and tell them the guild/pet name.

I saw the tag in wvw so I didn’t get their account name.

Hmmm. Well, you can try but without a character or display name, I’m not sure it’s findable.

As Astral Projections said, doing it via ticket is the best way to report an offensive guild name or tag.

It’s a lot easier, if you can, to also submit a screenshot. When you get the automated response when you’ve submitted the ticket, reply to the email with your screenshot. I usually do this just in case my spelling of the offending name(s) is incorrect in my ticket.

Obviously, due to the fast paced nature of WvW it’s a lot harder to do this, but I’m sure eventually their guild name will get reported if you didn’t manage.

" Enabling optional visibility of names would involve some pretty intensive technology, and it’s not something into which we’re putting resources at this time. Names — char names, guild names, guild tags — have always been visible in Guild Wars and in Guild Wars 2. We handle several reports a day, and we take them seriously. Submitting a ticket is just great, and I believe it will take you just a minute or two and your doing so will have very positive impact on the game.

We need:
•Guild Name (exact spelling)
•When possible, a character or display name of a member of that guild (this is golden for us)
•Guild Tag (Unfortunately, we can’t review tags without the guild name OR a character or display name of a member) "
