Q:

I’ve been really trying to build my guild around WvW but it’s kitten near impossible to do when I’m trying to recruit newer players and i can’t because I’m basically hoping they stumble into WvW at the exact moments that im in there without a guild lol. So is there a way to find out who’s on which server? or at least who’s on my server while on the megaserver?

Most likely you will be grouped with people from your server on the mega server. To ensure this make sure your friends are on your home server, or not in that zone, as well as your guild mates, since the grouping also takes these factors into consideration.

Then make sure your recruitment message says what server you are on. Imo depending on your server you are better off joining a Wvw guild yourself rather than trying to start from scratch but that is just my opinion and I’m not sure how many members or what your reputation is in wvw to really comment on that fully. But good luck to you.

I’ve seen a lot of recruiters just put the name of their world in their guild recruitment message.

I believe you can see which world they belong to on the AP leaderboards on the website. You can check people if they are on your friend list or in the same guild as them.

Not in game unless you just ask them. If you add them to your friends list you can view their server on the leaderboards.
