First you need HoT the expansion. Second you have to collect mastery around the new maps. They are like hero points or vistas of old core game. Third after you found some of those you’ll be able to unlock the glider from the mastery system. Now if you mean new glider skins you can buy those from the gemstore that you can find interacting with the trading post or sometime found into black lion chests.

^Not the Trading Post, but the Gem Store. You should see all the available Glider Skins in the Hero Panel.

As stated above, you must acquire Heart of Thorns to unlock Gliding, and the game provides a basic glider skin (at no additional cost).

Good luck.

You specifically need to a) own HoT and b) do the intro HoT story step that takes you through Silverwastes into Verdant Brink. You also need to be level 80 or you can’t do the story step. Completing the first bit in VB grants you one Mastery Point and lets you start training the first line of Glider Mastery.

Select that line to train, then get xp in the HoT maps. Explore, do event chains, the first line doesn’t take a lot of xp to get. Once your xp bar is full, open your hero panel and go to the masteries tab and click to spend your point on gliding.

You will now be able to glide. Just jump off something and hold space bar down, it will auto deploy. If you want a prettier glider, you pretty much have to buy one with gems, with limited (and sometimes in-game expensive) exceptions.

Once you learn gliding mastery, all your alts will have it, even brand new low level ones.

Once you have gliding unlocked, glider skins are available at the Gem Store. Like armor and weapon skins they are rotated in and out over time.

We are heroes. This is what we do!

To get a glider you need to play banjo kazooe, watch the,ENTIRE Lord of the ring series and read all 14 books in the wheel of time series. Once you do that, you’ll get a letter from Hogwarts where you’ll learn how to be a ninja and train for ten years to become the, ultimate pokemon master. After that, you’ll travel back,in,time to meet Leonardo Da Vinci where he will teach you how to build your own glider. Once you do that, you’ll need to meld your brain with the GW2 servers in order to unlock the potential to glide and be given your first glider.

Alternatively, you can buy heart of thorns, do the introductory instances that leads into verdant brink and select ‘gliding’ in the mastery tree and once you gain all the experience needed and the mastery point you need to unlock it, you’ll be provided with the base glider, with almost every other glider purchaseable in the gem store. The two gliders that aren’t gemstone exclusive are unlocked when you complete the legendary backpacks, either for PvP or for doing fractals. The gliders are visually the same as the backpacks themselves so if you like the look of the legendary backpacks, you get to keep their looks as,an option for your glider skin. Once a glider skin is unlocked, it’s in it’s own tab, just like outfits and you don’t need to pay anything to change gliders, unlike backpacks.
