i know EXACTLY how i would fix meta events. there would be multiple things that could happen in the event, depending on a combination of other events on the map, number of players on the map, number of players in immediate area, and RNG. for example, if the troll and wasp events were up in queensdale and there was 5-10 players, an undead champion troll would spawn, or an undead champion queen wasp with baby wasp adds, neither of which drop a chest, if there were 10-20 people the troll/ wasp would be legendary quality and drop a chest. if there were 30-40 people on the map(not nessacarily in immediate area) there would be both troll and wasp. if both troll and wasp events are done and there are 5-10 people shadow behemoth spawns. if there are 10-20 people a champion Aataxe appears and there is a chest, and if there are 30-40 people on map there would be a legendary Aataxe with shade adds. these numbers are made up and would be adjusted to match the actual numbers that would be appropriate. would you go with my idea or do you have another proposition?

How about adding more items that the player wants to the open world?

Rewards were taken away from open world mobs because of botting. And as the open world became rewardless, they add a few more rewards to a few events…making them crowded now. But the game can still add rewarding items in other ways such as crafting, player/guild customizable housing. This alone would add tons of new items to the game to play for, and spread out the farming.

Nerfing of rewards or increasing the difficulty is not the answer for everything. Especially since players of multiple levels are doing the selected rewardable events, and especially since the game is lacking in items to play for after you reach level 80.
