Guild Wars 2

hello everyone ,

i am trying to find reasons to continue play this game plz help me out….

proff : i have all – full gear (so this is not a reason)
story : have allrdy finish it 8 times(full map explore) no more plz (so this is not a reason)
dungeons : hmmm how many thousand times more ?(so this is not a reason)
fractals : hmmm how many thousand times more ?(so this is not a reason)
farming : for what? i allrdy have 16 legendarys and the rest i just dont like them(so this is not a reason)
pvp : r80 , champion in allmost all classes , i was in ladder but i dont care anymore to stay in.
world events : thousand times……..BORING (so this is not a reason)
living storys : well the add a new LS aprox. every 2 months and you dont need more the 3-4 days to finish all achievements(LS dont take more then a few hours to finish it) ,(so this is not a reason)
farming achievement points : maybe but thats enough? (i dont think so)
WvW : well i am not much of a WvW pl , only 1200rank.
loot : we all know that RNG sucks so i dont expect nothing from loot and i am ok with that.

All above are my personal story in game and i dont judge ANET for this. I just dont want to stop something that i spend 800+ days , maybe i miss something , ANY IDEAS?

If you’ve been playing continuously since beta I’d recommend you to take a break. That’s honestly the best way to make the game feel fresh again. A month, two months, six months. Just pop in at new LS launches to unlock them and log out again until you get that itch again. I guarantee it’s going to come back and when it does, you’ll have a big load of content and stuff to do.

A GW2 youtuber called WoodenPotatoes did a video not too long ago on what he does to keep his enjoyment of GW2. He mentioned creating personal challenges for himself in dungeons, like speed clearing AC with a duo, or placing certain restrictions upon himself to complete content. Create your own goals, whether it’s doing X in dungeon Y, or collecting every single torch skin, etc.

Other than that, there’s the social aspect. In most games I’ve played, the people in the games have kept me there to enjoy the game regardless of how long I’ve been playing or how much/littlke there is left to do

That’s good advice, too. I also saw a guy that decided to craft another legendary just to give it away and make regular youtube video updates about the progress.

Also, if you are feeling creative, start creating your own events/competitions. Whether with your guild or just a bunch of random players who happen to be on your map. I remember one guy doing “First to find me in LA gets X gold!” regularly. With the megaservers you could plausibly do that on any map you like.

And if creativity suits you, there is always the roleplaying community that will have stories for you until the end of time (or at least, the end of GW2).

Pretty much this I would suggest.

Come around on the 13th and see if the new LS sparks your interest or continue on your vacation.

i took a short break few months ago (a week break to be exact). came back afresh.

sometimes you just have to forget all about GW2 even for a brief moment.

For your problem: play something else or do something else, really. Come back when there’s – hopefully – more.

Sorry but OP sounds realy like a troll…

Pretty obvious he/she has played it all over and over again, there is no game fun enough to play that many times… I you have to play computer games I advice you to find another game, sounds like you have played GW2 more than enough … Just keep logging in now and then for bonuses and LS unlocks and come back after a year or two. I myself do have a small break from GW2 and playing Hyrule Warriors but I love GW2 most of all MMO’s I have played and it is still fun to play… It’s just that I don’t wanna get in OP’s situation.

-explore the world 1 more time by finding and finishing all jumping puzzles.
-Find and use all diving goggles
-Get collection achievements (shouldnt be THAT hard to get those rare expencive exotics and ascended armor since you have aaaalll 16 legendaries a looong time a go now shouldnt it?…)
-Get all the “unique” items such as mawdrey
-Go for titles
-Do all dungeon paths in order

-Join a guild,chill, help others out, make up and start your own guild events such as
-Commanding a wvw guild zerk
-Tpvp
-guild mates vs guild mates pvp
-guild pvp tournament with kitten prize
-Daily dungeon guild sweep

yeah atleast in other MMO’s such as RS you can just PK all day, loot there valuables and not get bored. GW2 is really boring sometimes
there needs to be some risk involved in PVP matches & such to add some excitement to the game.

Get map completion on a character with all map markers turned off.

Yeah, this is not that kind of a game. They just recently lowered the death penalties by removing the repair costs, so I’d say it’s highly unlikely they will ever introduce any meaningful penalty for dying.
