i chose the wrong order help
The order you choose does not affect your stats in any way, all it affects is the storyline you get and the armor/weapon skins that you can purchase.
Hi creepa,
This will not matter end game. The only real advantage to chosing a specific order are the story elements you can experience. They do provide order specific armour, but at end game this only boils down to order specific skins. If you want skins from other orders you can easily create a character for each order and unlock the skins for your account.
Stat wise, you can aquire the stats to suit your build in other ways, such as crafting, buying off the Trading Post, WvW badges, karma, etc. Like I say, the only real reason to get order armour is the skins, so do not worry too much which order you pick, unless you want the order to fit your character from a lore/character background perspective.
so stats do not matter ? because i was told warrior wants power
so stats do not matter ? because i was told warrior wants power
Because Orders don’t give stats.

It may be true that a warrior want’s power. That can matter. But the order you chose has nothing to do with power. You won’t get any more power choosing vigil over choosing order of whispers. You get the same power either way.
Orders affect your story, not your stats.
Ignore the stats on the order weapons. You can get stats you need from many other ways, including crafting, wvw, loot, dungeons etc
once i hit 80 how do i wanna start getting good gear? through order or dungeons or pvp
Order weapons aren’t even max weapons, so I’m not sure what you’re worried about.

Once you’re max level there are a few options available to you. You can simply save up gold and buy them on the Trading post, earn badges of honor and buy them from vendors in WvW, Earn karma doing events and such and buy them from karma vendors, or gather the matrerials and craft them.
Acquiring ascended gear (max tier gear) is more time consuming, but you can aquire exotic gear relatively easily and quickly, and you will be very viable. Ascended gear only really gives a noticable different in WvW, and even then it is not a massive amount if you have ascended trinkets, which you can buy from vendors using laurals (gained by logging in each day). So really, full exotic gear will do you well until you can get full ascended gear.
I have several characters in full exotics, with no ascended, and they do just fine.

As many already mentioned, not to worry about the order you choose, they only unlock armor skins for your account.
For acquiring level 80 gear, there are many ways to do so. I suggest you consult the following link:

It’s my gear bible and even after playing 5k hours I still use it for reference purposes.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy the game!
Ok you need to stop mixing the two things together, they have nothing to do with anything.
Orders are a path you choose for your story line. Along the way you will get a drop from them around lvl 30 something were you will pick one weapon that you can use at that very level you are at IF you want. After an hour or two you have lvl passed it and you will get new weapon drops through the game.
The weapon you choose, can be used as skin on other weapon of the same sort, IF you want that. Three is a million other skins you might want more when you are in end game and have the weapons you will actually keep.
Whilst leveling you change weapon and gear several times a day through drops from mobs, bosses, events, karma vendors, wvw, pvp, stories, Trading Company and what not.
Stats is important, and it all goes down to what class and what build you have. When leveling it is really a easy choice. To avoid struggling you pick dps-stats power/percision/ferocity to compensate for no traits and stats that you have when you are lvl 80. At endgame you decide what build you want and then add stats that support the build.
Gear/weapon/trinkets with stats drop through the game as pointed out above, pick the one you want, salvage or sell the rest. When reaching endgame there is numerous ways of getting gear. You have Karma temple, buy for gold on Trading Company, Dungeons marks, Marks from wvw, there is just a endless way of getting the gear and you should not worry about this now, because there really is no gear progression in the end game like in other mmo’s. GW2 is easy to gear up in so just enjoy the game. First character is always special
