i want to delete all my characterss and create new toon but will keep my gold with the new shared wallet or should i convert it to gems ? thanks

I dunno but if all your slots are full, delete just 1 character then create a new one and in the end delete the rest of them o_O

It shouldn’t matter, but you could do this:

1) don’t delete 1 of your toons
2) create a new toon
3) delete the toon you didn’t delete

I think so long as you bank it, oh wait you don’t actually bank it as such anymore do you.

So I can’t say for sure.

Some confirmation from somebody that has done this or from ArenaNet would be good on this one.

Holland’s method is still viable even if you go to another server.

He obviously wants to go to a new server for free, hence deleting all characters. Unless it’s for WvW though I don’t see the point, you can just guest anywhere.

when i started playing i made my char on USA server by the time i realized it was too late i cant take the lag anymore so i want to move to EU server

Yes you keep your golds/diamonds items in bank achievement points i tryed i deleted all chars and moved to us and everything was still there even items listed in trading post:)

Are you certain that deleting all characters currently will open access to EU servers?

Yes, when transferring, you can create characters on any server, NA or EU. A game account is world-wide.

You could mail the gold to a friend you trust? If not, you could put a way overpriced sell order in the tp for something. You’d sacrifice the listing fee ofc, but all i can think of. Cheaper than gem conversion. Don’t know an answer to your question sorry.

When you delete characters, you only delete them and what items are in their personal inventory. You will keep all items in your bank and wallet. Be sure to log on to each character first and check for items you want to keep.

Here is the exact process to ensure you keep your goods and get the world transfer, too:
1. Log into each character.
2. By doing so, that character’s currency items will be moved to the wallet.
3. Move other items (not saved in the Wallet) to your bank.
4. Delete characters.
5. Choose new home world.
6. The Wallet will be on the account and accessible when you create a new character in your new home world.
