mainly I know tengu was possible race from the start so probly halfway built so yea bring on the tengu in some update lol. but add in the monk class but more of martial, that uses bo staff and escreema sticks. and has different stances that has their own skills like offensive stance defensive stance evasive stance, neutral stance [or something] and can swap through them like the elementalist and can only use weapons that are monk like the bo staff the sticks, and maybe long bow and stuff maybe focus and sword. or so on but the neutral stance mechanics may be more moves that are counters like wait for them to move type teachings like earth bending in avatar last air bender. of course not sure what armor they would have probly medium or most likely light.

so no talks no nothing on this?

the elements thing probably won’t happen, simply because elementalists exist, it’s too close to what they have. i would like to see dervishes from gw1 come over (though i didn’t play gw1, i like what i see on the wiki XD). would also like a class that punches things. for a new race……i just don’t see that ever happening

It’s quite possible for Tengu to become playable race, there’s concept art with different tengu heads, and their place in GW2 world is quite significant.

Possible, that Monks become your far eastern themed “martial artist” class with empty handed attacks (The weapons could be hand wrappings, which thieves could also use, to get those "1 handed dual skills some more use), also could utilize pre-existing staffs as two-handed melee weapons with some magical powers too perhaps, and possibly a skill named “Way of the Empty Hand” (or Palm, which ever works better. In reference of GW1 elite “Way of the Empty Palm”).

In a way, such profession is also possible with Tengu’s far eastern theme.

Dervishes, that depends how the teachings are resurrected, since the destruction of Order of the Sunspear, there pretty much haven’t been anyone to teach this art…
