Melee claws for Engineers and Necros.
As a die hard warrior I must say, not having a two handed axe seems quite blasphemous.

Even if it was meant for throwing, paragon style, I’d still use it. My guardian wants a stick with something sharp on the end of it!

I think anything that would reasonable fit in the current game’s design have been mentioned so…
+1 for the two-handed axe – warrior and guardian

Well, I guess I could suggest Brass Knuckles, with some brawling type skills. Probably more for a heavy armor class. But could you imagine being able to actually brawl on a norn warrior in the open world? Kinda nifty
Whip was an excellent suggestion! As well as great-axe. Maybe ball and chain or boomerang? Also wouldn’t mind new skins for existing weapons like morning-star (mace), khopesh (sword), and katana (sword).
A martial arts profession could open up a bunch of models such as nunchacku, throwing stars, bo staff.
Scythe for necromancers and guardians.
Shurikens for thieves and rangers.
Necronomicon for necromancers and mesmers.
Flail for warriors and guardians.
Cestus/gauntlets for engineer and warriors.
Tessen or windandfire wheels for mesmer and elementalist.
Atlatl or woomera for rangers and engineers. (Lacrosse anyone?)
Boomerangs for thieves and rangers.
Hand cannon for engineers and thieves.
Meteor hammer for warriors and elementalists.
And cowbell for more lists like these.
Great-axe for a Warrior obviously.
I would love to see the introduction of pole-arms like the halberd or glaive. These would be melee weapons with a range greater than that of all other melee weapons.

Well let’s see I’d add polearm for the engi/ranger still waiting on my steampunk stuff to arrive, the stuff they have in the game is close but not really there yeah know.
And for just the engi tho I’d add the bazooka (a real one not the nerfed racial) and chainsaw/drill to the toolkit.
Claws for necro and ranger but it would be considered a 2H weapon.
Necro – Would be a ranged weapon, similar to axe.
Ranger – Would be a melee weapon.
Why 2H? Currently auto attack is a main hand animation. This is so you can swap out the off hand and still keep the same animation. By making it a 2H weapon, the animations would make use of both claws and not just the one on the main hand.
Double Bladed Sword for mesmer and thief.
It would be a dueling weapon and so I find these two best represent dueling professions.
For the Thief:
Auto attack would be a slash, slash, jab.
2nd Skill: Throw it at the target like a spear and the skill changes to the second stage.
2nd Skill: Second stage which is available for 3 seconds, teleport to the target (acts as an evade) and rip the weapon back out.
3rd Skill: Stick it in the ground, spin around it with your foot out kicking up to 5 enemies within melee range and knocking them down.
4th Skill: Throw it with a spin hitting enemies along the path of travel. Upon throwing it, you teleport 600 units facing the direction you came from. The speed and timings on the teleport are such that you teleport after you throw and you show up in time to catch it.
5th Skill: Whirlwind, reflects ranged attacks and blocks melee.
Unarmed combat – all professions. A “wristband” replaces the actual weapon and goes into the weapon slot. Different wristbands could offer alternative skills.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Blowgun.
Pointed Stick.

I would also like to see another weapon for elementalists. Maybe a chakram or shuriken. Even a the Tanbo which could be considered a two handed weapon for one in each hand.
Mechanical exoskeleton for Engineers. It is the same size as the user and does not cover up the entire body.
It is basically like wearing a bunch of weapons
Ex:
-Flamethrower on left wrist(like the flame legion)
-Mini gun on the right wrist(just because its cool)
-Jet pack on the back
-And whatever else you can think of.
It is like putting all the kits into one suit

Tazer – we already have electric cattle prods just outside black citadel.

Floating orbs for Elementalists and Engineers – with both magical and technological skins to meet the needs of both. Serves as a 2-handed weapon.
1. Guardians: 2H – Pole arm/Helberd/LANCE, 1H – Javalin(Ranged)
2. Warriors: 2H – Great Axe, 1H – Ball & Chain
3. Necromancer: 2H – Scythe(Melee), 1H – Chain(Allows a chained undead pet(human) to be summoned at all times: #1 – summon, #2-3 Melee skills?)
4. Engineer: 2H Bazooka, 1H – Tether(Allows you to pull enemy or be pulled to them)
5. Thief: 2H – Grapple Hook rifle, 1H – Hand spikes

I think they will never give us (guardians) a chance to use a 2handed axe…
I like the idea of a pole-arm /halberd type the centaurs already are using something similar as is. I would love to see Tessen ( single hand or two handed) as well which would lend well to potential types of new professions when we move to Cantha( hoping for Shrine Maiden /Ahigaru ), Naginata and great-axe would be lovely too
A crossbow is all I want.

Honestly i would like to see claws. Claws for Engineer, thieves and Necromancers. It would be awesome. But i think we should work with what we got so far and expanding them. I would like to see more combinations, like:
(MH) Focus – Elementalists, Mesmers;
(MH) Shield – Engineers and Guardians;
(MH) Pistol – Mesmer;
(MH) Torch – Ranger;
(OH) Scepter – Engineer and Necromancer;
(MH) Warhorn – Ranger, Necromancers and Warriors.

Research indicates a whip is actually not a particularly effective weapon in RL, but since this is fantasy, yeah, a whip would be cool. Maybe for engineers, and/or mesmers, and/or necromancers. Heck, elementalists, too. Electric whip!
