No Stats on the ring and very hard to find. Once you find one you may be considered as one of the strongest wizards on the server. If you attach the ring, you will get vulnerable to other players and if you die the ring will drop on the ground.
Crossbow (2-Hand) Ranger, Thief, Engi
Slow but hard hitting single target attacks (one attack must be called “arrow to the knee”)
Nuclear Rocket Launcher (1-Hand Legendary) All classes
Very slow but absolute destructive attack
Only one shot (1 Year CD). Kills everything instantly on the server (Even npc kids, bosses, players, devs, minis).
Flute (1-Hand) Mesmer, Thief
No attacks but dazing and slowing spells.
Thermonuclear mis…..wait, no.
A chainsaw for my engineer and warriors since (apparently) they’re the masters of all weps.
Or necros…cuz chainsaws are in like every zombie movie and with the undead around them, how else do they keep em from getting unruly?

I’d love for the engineer to receive a Cannon, could probably go well on the warrior as well, and maybe the guardian. Siege tank guardian build sound awesome to anyone else? A number five skill that self roots but give 1500 range ground targeted AoE attack.
The Engineer needs to be given the hammer! :P HAMMER!
I’d like to see spears and javelin, spears being melee and javelins being ranged.
Throwing hammers would also be awesome, and no I don’t mean hammers like the ones we already have, that would be stupid. Most people don’t realize that the throwing hammer used in the olympic games was once a real weapon and a pretty cool one in my opinion.
A net would be a cool off-hand weapon.
Meteor hammer and rope dart would both be cool as well. Both are somewhat similar to a whip but more combat practical.
And main hand shield for guardian of course.

This would be cool, was thinking the same thing.
Spear (1h or 2h?) – Warrior + Ranger
>> Quick attacks, probably a focus on vulnerability for warriors, maybe poison for rangers.
2H Axe – Warrior exclusive (seems too big/slow for a ranger. Greatsword I think is the biggest thing a ranger would carry)

Having a tough time coming up with more weapons for Guardians, Elementalists, and Necromancers. Also it seems like every non-magic oriented weapons should be available to warriors.

1h Lances, 2h Polearm, h2h weapons or claws, 1h Katana, 2h Great Katana, and 2h Great axe there a lot more that could be added and i can see them adding in more but these weapons cant be stronger then the existing weapons so please do not think they will become a replacement for skill on weapons that are out now. Same thing could be said for ppl who want more skills they do not so much want more build types they want “better” skills that why the classes have now.

I really think they should add styles to current weapons. Like ninja swords (katanas) you use way differently than, say a machete. Maybe not restrict the styles to the visual skins, but atleast make them available as a diff weapon skill bars for variety and uniqueness.
And again, chains and whips. Coolest kittening weapon
More curved swords/daggers for any classes that are able to equip them.

Some of these exotic weapons being mentioned could become a possibility, seeing as the potential expansions are Cantha (Oriental style continent) and Elona (African style continent). But that’s going to be a long way off yet :p

A halberd or a spear for land. As a big polearm fan when playing warrior-type characters in other games, it really stinks that spears are pretty much underwater-only.

I’d like to see a rapier model for the sword category.
They could do the same thing with greataxe as they did with the greatsaw, just make a model for greatsword (similar to Droknar’s Forgehammer for the mace).
I would like a spear/polearm category so they could add models based on the spear, halberd, pike, bill, bardiche, etc.
If i could add any weapons in game it ould have to be crossbows, i freaking love crossbow, when Skyrim add them i begin playing it again so…

I’d like to see a “One-man band” kit for Engineers. Imagine it as a backwards version of a Warhorn or Shout skill – most of its skills are player-centered AOEs which apply conditions to enemies rather than boons to allies. The standard five-target limit would apply.

whats the asura gonna do. bite their enemys kneecaps off and chew on their calf? and i just imagine the male norn adapting a pro wrestling fight style. haha
i personally would love to get a the previous selection of bows from the 1st game. rangers had shortbow, recurve, horn,long and flatbow to choose from. i would love to have those choices back, but meh.
the idea of a Rapier really intrigues me.
i would love to have an ancient sword , especially ‘’death bringer’’ ’’Gram’’ ‘’Dynasty Ancient sword’’ to quickly explain these swords are essentially greatswords, only wielded with one hand and swung in one hand, because a greatsword is more kitten being swung in 1 hand than 2.

1/2Handed Chakram (Glaives if you watched Blade or played Warcraft/WoW).
I think it would look awesome as a 1handed but think it might fit better as a two handed.

A scythe would be hard to implement, IMHO, considering that there’s at least two staff skins that look like one already (not to mention the necro’s shadow scythe thing)… but it’s still my pick of new weapon to add mainly because I loved the dervishes in GW1… I want my scythe for melee AoE attacks..

Land-Spear!
I wanted it since GW1. Not the throwing kind. A proper military spear. Just take the water ones and make them available on land, I’ll even take them if the only skill is “stab your pet accidentally”.
How can I be a proper ranger without a ranged melee weapon? How can I be a proper hunter without a spear?
How can I be at all without a spear?
Random sidenote: The current Ranger Greatsword skills would actually fit the fighting style of a spear (deflection+quick counter attacks) most perfectly. Just exchange them. Nobody will notice. Come on. Now.

Unarmed gets my vote. I’d say gloves (which come in clawed and brass knuckle skin varieties), but I want to be able to kick as well. Then:
Guardian: A heavy hitting slow type, with blocks and counters on 4 and 5 skills.
Thief: Lots of acrobatic martial arts type moves. The 1 skill doing a punch-kick-backflip type combo. The four skill being a nerve strike that stuns.
Mesmer: Lots of teleporting and illusions covering the actual hits. I’m picturing a purple version of Green Lantern crossed with Tifa’s Dolphin Blow.
