Guild Wars 2

Alright so basically I have no clue what im doing when it comes to GW2 I like probably others was a WoW kitten for bout 7 years played beta and all and well I cant decide what class to play so I’m asking the community what you think would be best for me to start with trying out.

My background in MMO’s is actually kinda high ranked and well I want a game I can play hardcore PVE endgame content and be viable to the group in WoW I was a world top 20 mage for vanilla and well dropped fast after BC cause well it sucked and so did the other expansions hence why I’m here but looking into it it seems everyone and their dog is a elementalist so what other classes are fun to play I do also enjoy tanking and healing as I am not sure what endgame needs (I’m assuming they use Healers / tanks w/ taunts )

So really in your experiences whats a good class to basically start with if I enjoy Casting as well as tank / healing ( hate the layout of the gaurdian so I probably wont touch that proffesson) I am thinking about elementalist but not entirely sure how they play for PVE content / level

warrior is an amazing tank, all you need is gear with the soldiers stats, and it gives good dmg as well, i love it, and i can do well in pve, i soloed a champion with a grenade kit in an event in straight of devastation because i had a nice health pool and good toughness with a lot of power.

Honestly, I would recommend not putting any time into this game at all. Horrid development has led to dwindling player base and most of the remaining players spend their time ranting on the forums rather than actually playing the game. It’s gotten that bad. If you want a Quaggan backpack or to ride around town on a broom then go for it. Those mechanics seem to be working perfectly, but everything else is broken and barely anyone plays anymore. If I were you I’d go ahead and sign up for Elder Scrolls MMO beta and cross your fingers that you get selected. That seems like a way better investment of time…… IMO of course.

already a head of you on Elder scrolls signed up with a Highly likley to be selected so hopefully I do get that but as far as I know thats going to be open to keys in end of may I need something to kill time in my dorm room until then but good to know about the player base…. sounds a lot like swtor to me
