Guild Wars 2

I realise that this may have been asked before but I am new to this game so please bear with me . Why has my character been unable to display goods he wishes to sell when talking to a merchant or weapon/armorsmith. ? Am I doing something wrong?

Does your stuff you want to sell reside inside invisible bags? If so they aren’t shown to a vendor.

not as far as I know they are just in my starter backpack

Did you click on the sell button on the left?

They may be account/soul bound and not be saleable. Examples of this are items received from the level up chests.

Make sure to choose the Vendor tab with the little icon of coins (left side of window). Make sure the items do not say ‘Soul Bound’ or ‘Account Bound’.

Also, if you click ‘O’ on the keyboard, it will open the Trading Post (3rd tab down on window) where many items you can vendor will sell for much more than Vendors will purchase them for.

Yes, unfortunately you can not sell dragonite ore to a vendor.
