Eh.. some of these were really good and made me smirk, like the one in the OP… but some of you really don’t know how to make these no offense. :P

When Tequatal is about to start and there are no commanders…

When you’re literally seconds away from completing your dailies then the daily reset hits…

When a downed, stealthed ally in spvp attacks to reveal himself….

When you salvage 5 rares and get no ectos….

When you lag out/get disconnected after waiting for an hour to get into a WvW/Teq map…

When you’re on your Mesmer and try to Blink up stairs or a hill to catch your fleeing prey… ><

I found this thread a while ago and made a promise to myself to sort through my old screenshots. I thought a few were pretty good…

When you just saved Tyria from an Elder Dragon only to have a fatalistic salad guy claim all the credit.

When you’re just after some quick gold, but they keep undercutting you on the TP.

When you manage to get into the keep just before it flips.. …on a ranger.

When you are in the SW Labyrinthe, have lost the invisible to Insta Kill Wolf buff, you’ve run out of dodge, make a dive for a box…

… and you get nailed just before you get the box. You can feel your fingers brushing it but noooooooooo.

When you create the tallest and beefiest possible male norn Mesmer just to annoy others in PvP with clones, but the only person it annoys is you.

Jump puzzles.

When doing JPs, cussing out the devs as you fall to your death repeatedly is an expression of deep frustration, entertainment, rage, and respecting how twisted they really are.

My first introduction to a JP was in Beta when I hopped up some stones in Metrica, through a portal… and into Goemm’s Lab. There were no guides and I flat out sucked at jumping back then. 5 hours over 2 days later, I did it. What I called the devs during this probably blistered the paint, all the while loving/hating every minute.

And an addiction was born. Oh, Goemm’s Lab also taught me that I could compose entire sentences just using the F-bomb.

It wasn’t my introduction to JP’s, and I was fairly good at them at the time. However, I had a very similar experience in the Clock Tower it’s first year…

When you’re walking around the Grove to get map complete and walk in on roleplayers in a secret area.
And you sit there for a good 5 seconds before you realize they’re there.

whoops. My poor embarrassed mesmer….
(Those secret Grove areas are evil. You never know if there are people in there until you pretty much step on them!)
